Assignment 1

This assignment, since it is the first, will not follow the general format of the rest of the course.  Please read the directions for each assignment carefully so that you know what is expected.

1.  Register for the discussion board.  Use an ID close enough to your real name that I can identify you without having to cross reference it.  I would prefer your actual name.  (Will Jones or Bill Jones  is OK for William Jones, but please no "Sweet_Cutie_Pie_8675309" names.)

2.  Make a post to the discussion board introducing yourself to me and your classmates.  Please include name, city, career aspirations, etc. 

3.  Define the terms below IN YOUR OWN WORDS and send them to me [mckee@uamont.edu] as a Microsoft Word document attachment named according to the instructions found on the course homepages.  Please be sure to provide your name, the date, and the assignment number at the very top of your file.  Include a 4-digit PIN number of your choosing in the body of this email.  I will use this PIN to post grades during the semester.
